Google has provided broad access to their latest generation TPU servers, Trillium, their sixth generation servers, which is another competitive alternative to Nvidia dominance.
On that occasion, Google just released a first-of-its-kind study of Life-Cycle Emissions of AI Hardware which illustrates the strong progress in terms of AI compute efficiency and eco-friendliness over the last years. This study shows that CCI improves 3x from TPU v4i to TPU v6e.
